Photos: Black Stars open camp in Morocco ahead of Nigeria, Uganda friendlies

The Black Stars have commenced training in Morocco ahead of their upcoming friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda.

Thirteen players did a work out at the Black Stars team hotel on Tuesday morning after opening camp in Marrakech on Monday.

The light session was to relax their muscles after travelling from their respective clubs ahead of the two International friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.

They include Joseph Wollacott, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Andre Ayew, Tariq Lamptey and Antoine Semenyo. The rest are Kassim Nuhu (late call up), Abdul Samed Salis, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Patrick Kpozo, Seidu Alidu, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew and Denis Odoi.

The Black Stars will play 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finalists Nigeria on Friday, March 22 before taking on the Cranes of Uganda on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

With the exception of Nurudeen Abdulai who arrived Tuesday morning, the rest of the squad took part in the work out.

The Black Stars will hold their first field training Tuesday evening.
