The Serie A returns this weekend with a blockbuster fixture as league leaders, Juventus square off against Internationale today in Turin.

We, therefore, take a look ahead of today's Serie A game between Juventus and Inter Milan from the Allianz Stadium.

Doubtlessly, the clash between the Bianconeri and the Nerazzurri is one of the mouth-watering encounters in Italy and definitely, all eyes will be on the clash today at the Allianz Stadium. The Turin giants have the opportunity to stamp their authority on the Scudetto by overcoming their great rivals in the Derby d'Italia. The Blue and Black side in Milan will seek to ruin the undefeated run the Turin giants have made to the season at home.

The last time both teams met was at San Siro where Gonzalo Higuain headed home the match winner as the Bianconeri came from behind to beat Inter Milan 2-3 in the Derby d'Italia.

TEAM NEWS

For the home side, Emre Can, Sami Khedira, and Alex Sandro have all recovered from their injuries, however, youngster Rodrigo Bentancur is a doubt with a back problem. For the visitors, Dalbert and Radja Naingollan have returned to training as they hope to recover for the super clash but is unlikely they will be fit for the game.

ANALYSIS

Juventus are by far the best and superior team in Italy as they already have eight points over near rivals Napoli who are second. The addition of Christiano Ronaldo, who is a joint-top scorer ( Krzysztof Piatek with 10) in the league will be a thorn in the flesh of the Nerrazurri following the visitors dreadful defence as they have conceded 12 goals and goalkeeper, Samir Handanovic has made 44 saves after 14 games played. Juventus have been stout at the back with eight goals conceded but they have the most clinical striker in the country, Mauro Icardi to deal with.
Delving in that particular aspect is irrelevant for now, Icardi haunts Juventus in what seems like every single game he plays against them.

Luciano Spaletti is aware his side, Inter Milan will need to give their maximum best to get anything out of the game. The proficiency on the bench for Juventus and the crucial Champions League fixture between Inter Milan and PSV, a match where three points will ease the Nerazzurri's qualification to the knockout phase, will play a huge role in the lineup selection and the exertion of energy on the pitch.

PREDICTION

Juventus 2 - 1 Internationale
