Ghanaian forward Solomon Asante has been nominated for three awards at Phoenix Rising following his consistent form for the club.

Solomon Asante is set to be rewarded off the pitch, should he win, after being nominated for three awards at Phoenix Rising this season.

The former Berekum Chelsea forward's stunner against Oklahoma City Enger in the United Soccer League was nominated the best goal of the year together with other three players.

Asante was also nominated for the Newcomers award, where performances are focused on debutants and the Ghanaian will compete with James Musa, Joey Farrel and Zac Lubin for the award.

He has also been nominated for the Most Valuable Player of the Year award and will compete with goalkeeper Carl Woszczynski, Chris Cortez and youngster Amadou Dia.

The 28-year-old featured 17 times for the Black Stars but did not earn a call-up for the team's clash against Sierra Leone despite his superlative performances.
