Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Asante has been named as the most creative player in the United Soccer League (USL) after an impressive start to the league with Phoenix Rising FC.
Asante who left TP Mazembe for the US in 2017 has been a revelation for the club as he has created 77 clear cut goal scoring opportunities to add to his 6 assists and 11 goals in the second tier this season.
A direct contribution of 17 goals for Phoenix Rising saw Solomon Asante nominated for the division’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season.
The 28-year-old former Berekum Chelsea player is certainly making a name for himself in the USL as he is currently the captain of the club.
Solomon Asante is a full Ghana international having played 17 times for the Black Stars.
