Swansea City have rejected an £8 million bid from newly promoted English Premiership side Fulham FC for highly-rated Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew.

The Welsh side who have been relegated to the English Championship are willing to sell the striker but only for a higher price.

Jordan Ayew impressed for Swansea despite his side been relegated, Ayew scored 11 goals in all competitions and was voted Player of the Season at Swansea.

The Cottagers identified the Black Stars attacker as the man to add attacking bite to their team and tabled an initial £8 million with add-ons only for the Swans to coolly reject that offer.

The Welsh giants are quoting figures in excess of £20 million for the coveted players and that any interested party willing to acquire the services of Jordan Ayew must be willing to cough out his buyout clause as well.
