Kotoko, others charged by GFA

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has charged a number of clubs and officials for various misconducts.

All charged Clubs and persons who have been charged are to submit written statements of defence or choose the option of appearing in person before the GFA Disciplinary Committee.

2023 African Games: Mustapha Ussif inspects Legon, Borteyman construction sites again (photos)

Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has paid a working visit to the University of Ghana – Legon and Borteyman construction sites to ascertain work done.

This is the second time the Sports Minister has visited the construction sites to inspect the progress of work after first doing so last December.

During the tour, he visited the sites the construction sites for the games village for the August 2023 pan-African event as well as the athletics and rugby facilities.

The sector minister then proceeded to the Borteyman site where the other indoor sports disciplines will be held in addition to tennis and an aquatic center for swimming.

AFCON 2021: CAF announce new date for third-place match

The AFCON 2021 third-place match has been brought forward a day from Sunday to this Saturday, February 5, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced.

The match will now be played on Saturday at 19:00 GMT having initially been scheduled to start just three hours before the final on Sunday.

Both matches will be played in Yaounde, with the Olembe Stadium hosting the final and the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium the venue for the third-place game.
