2023 African Games: Mustapha Ussif inspects Legon, Borteyman construction sites again (photos)

Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has paid a working visit to the University of Ghana – Legon and Borteyman construction sites to ascertain work done.

This is the second time the Sports Minister has visited the construction sites to inspect the progress of work after first doing so last December.

During the tour, he visited the sites the construction sites for the games village for the August 2023 pan-African event as well as the athletics and rugby facilities.

The sector minister then proceeded to the Borteyman site where the other indoor sports disciplines will be held in addition to tennis and an aquatic center for swimming.

After reviewing the monthly reports from the 3 contractors, Consar for UG, Mawums for the Games village also at UG and Contracta, for Borteyman, Hon. Mustapha Ussif expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work.

Mustapha Ussif remains highly optimistic that the contractors will be able to meet the timelines for the completion of the various facilities for the hosting of the 13th African Games dubbed Accra 2023.
