According to checks by PrimeNewsGhana, the ex-striker of Hearts of Oak Kwame Kizito is close to joining Swedish top-flight club BK Hacken.

Swedish Allsvenskan side BK Hacken are set to announce the signing of Ghanaian striker Kwame Kizito in the ongoing transfer window.

The Bravida Arena expressed interest in signing the 22-year-old following his sterling output at Hearts of Oak and Al Ittihad club for the past seasons.

Kizito has been clubless after mutually terminating his contract with Libyan side Al Ittihad in October last year.

A letter from Swedish club BK Hacken sighted by PrimeNewsGhana, stated a two-year deal after passing a mandatory medical test.

"We received several offers from Europe but we opted for BK Hacken because it entails a lot which will help his [Kwame Kizito] career as a footballer," a close source to the player said.

"He will be leaving Ghana in the coming days to seal the deal. Negotiations between his agent and the BK Hacken has been completed for him to sign the deal after passing the medical"

Before leaving Hearts of Oak to join Al Ittihad on a free transfer, he bagged thirteen (13) goals during the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.

He registered seven goals in his 12 appearances for Al Ittihad and helped them to clinch the Libyan Cup.

Kizito was member of the Black Stars 'B' squad that won the 2017 WAFU Cup held in Ghana.
