Emiliano Sala was honoured in an emotional tribute last night in a French Ligue 1 game where his former club FC Nantes faced AS Saint-Étienne.
Sala is still missing after the tragic disappearance of his airplane more than a week ago, with the search still continuing to find the Argentine striker who was bound to join Cardiff City in the English Premier League.
Last night saw Nantes pay an emotional tribute to their former striker, by stopping the game in the ninth minute to remember Sala.
