Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to missing Cardiff football star Emiliano Sala, whose aircraft got missing on his way to Wales to join his new teammates at Cardiff City.

The 28-year-Old who became Cardiff City’s record signing after sealing £15 million moves to the Premier League side disappeared while heading to his new club from France last week.

Gyan has however sent an emotional message to the family of the missing player following the disappearance of the striker.

However, Gyan who plies his trade in the Turkish top-flight for Kayserispor has also released an emotional tribute via his Instagram handle.  

The former Sunderland goal poacher wrote, “We always put our life on the line but people think it’s just a game. Hmmmm. Let’s pray for SALA. Chances of finding Sala alive is slim according to BBC reports, with officials saying that is was more of a recovery than rescue mission at this point. Sala’s plane lost contact off Alderney in the Channel Islands on Monday night.

The search for the missing aircraft and its occupants resumed on Wednesday, January 23, however chief officer of Channel Islands Air Search, John Fitzgerald said Sala was likely gone.

According to Legit.ng, Lionel Messi has charged the authorities to resume the search for missing Argentine star Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson.

The 28-year-old Argentine was due to arrive Cardiff City earlier this week following his £15 million deal from Nantes this month.

His plane was said to have disappeared on Monday near Guernsey and a three-day search of the English Channel was called off on Thursday.

it has also been reported that Cardiff City and French side Nantes football fans have placed a massive banner on the training ground to pay their tribute to the departed striker, Meanwhile, other reports have also said that Argentine and Barcelona Star Lionel Messi has joined  other World football stars to urged the British Police to continue the search for Emiliano Sala.
