Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has expressed delight after meeting legends of African football at the unveiling of Senegal's newly-built stadium.
The 36-year-old, who is yet to hang up his boots, played for African legends in their game against Senegal's former players at the inauguration of the stadium in Diamniadio.

Gyan took to Twitter to laud the people of Senegal for their commitment to developing the game after putting up such a huge edifice.
"It was a huge honour to be part of the football legends invited to the opening of the new stadium in Senegal. Thank you for the opportunity. It has been a privilege to be at this amazing building which will serve for 10’s of years for all the people to benefit and enjoy the sport"

The stadium will be home to all of Senegal's international games, and the first official match will be the game against Egypt in the World Cup qualifier.
At a ceremony, Senegal President Macky Sall revealed the stadium is named after the former head of state, Abdoulaye Wade.
