Atletico Madrid and Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey, believe that his club had a fantastic season as they ended with a trophy.
He describes the season as a great one after his side placed third in the Laliga Santander season ahead of rivals Real Madrid for the first time since 2013.
The 25-year-old played eight games for Atletico Madrid during their Europa title-winning campaign of 2017/18.
Partey played most of the games for Atletico at right back and fitted in well.
"Well I think it was a fantastic season, nobody believed in us but we got ups downs in our tournament and at the end, we are a team that like to suffer but in the end, we are grateful to win the Europa league".

The hard-working midfielder is looking forward to the upcoming season after the former Almeria man believes they can win something next season.
