Administrative Manager for Dreams FC Ameenu Shardow has descended heavily on Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah citing his lack of managerial acumen cost the country continental glory in AFCON 2019.

Ghana's quest to end the 37-years trophy drought suffered a major blow when the West Africa side were crashed out of AFCON 2019

after losing 4-5 on penalties to Tunisia in their Round of 16 clash in Ismailia last night.

Taha Yassine Khenissi broke the deadlock for Tunisia in the 73rd minute before Rami Bedoui’s own goal in injury time levelled the score for Ghana.

Speaking to Asempa FM on the Ultimate Sports show, Ameenu Shardow said: "When your fundamentals are weak the AFCON will expose you".

According to him, the former Al Khartoum coach did not display any sense of managerial acumen leading to Ghana's calamitous exit at the 32nd edition of the Africa biggest football tournament.

He referenced that the coach failure to manage big egos in camp was the same problem that brought shame to the black stars in 2014 World Cup.

He further opined that the coach is so incompetent that weakened his technical team before going to the AFCON by sacking his assistant in Maxwell Konadu who has been with him for since 2013.

Kwesi Appiah was relieved of his duties after he led Ghana to a disastrous 2014 World Cup.

He was reappointed in April 2017 but failed to qualify Ghana to its 3rd straight World Cup and came in when two crucial matches had already being played in the qualifiers.

The Black Stars on Thursday morning touched down in the country following their exit from the AFCON 2019.
