US President, Donald Trump is in the news for the wrong reasons again but not for his Twitter rants as many would have expected.
This time, it is his 'refusal' to shake the hands of German Chancellor, Angela Merkel after a meeting at the White House which has made the headlines.
Chancellor Merkel was a guest at the White House and during a photo session after their, it was expected that the two would shake hands for the cameras.
But when the expected handshake was not coming, photographers yelled for it but Mr Trump did not heed and even when his guest asked 'do you want a handshake?', he remained adamant.
It is not yet known whether Mr Trump's refusal was deliberate as there was quite some noise in the room and one could argue that he did not hear the request but the embarrassing spectacle would still qualify as another diplomatic gaffe from the US President.
