The buyers of 50 Cent's 21 bedroom home in Farmington, Connecticut are reportedly hoping it will be turned into a care facility for elderly people.

The 'In Da Club' hitmaker has agreed a sale on his mansion in Farmington, Connecticut and the buyers are hoping to convert the estate into an assisted living facility for elderly people.

The estate reportedly sold for $8 million, which is less than half of the price it was originally listed for back in 2007.

50 Cent is likely to be glad to be shot of the place as he is believed to currently be spending $70,000 a month maintaining the home, which has 21 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms and nine kitchens.

Providing the owner with everything, the estate also features an outdoor infinity pool as well as a second indoor pool, helicopter pad and a nightclub and casino for evening entertainment, TMZ reports.

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old rapper previously revealed he spent two days trying to visit every room in the house.

He shared: ''I tried to go into every room and feel out the place. How long did it take? Two days, it's like a small hotel.

''Did I forget to turn the lights off? When you've got a 52-room place, when you don't use s**t they beak because you didn't use it, so you leave the f***ing lights on.''
