Everything you need to know about Wendy Shay

Born Wendy Addo, better known as Wendy Shay is a Ghanaian who lives in Stuttgart, Germany. 

Wendy Shay speaks Deutsche, English and French languages. 

The CEO of Rufftown records, Ricky Osei Agyemang  popularly known as Bullet, officially unveiled Wendy Shay as his new act after the demise of the late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns.

After the death of the ‘sponsor’ hitmaker, some of her fans have wondered if there would ever be a female musician to be at par with the legacy she left behind in her short reign in the music industry.

Bullet, of the defunct music group Ruff and Smooth, unveiled his new act, Wendy Shay to take over after Ebony at the VGMA 2018 awards night.

Although the death of Ebony in February and events following after that may have delayed her debut, the wait is finally over and the singer, whose real name is Wendy Addo, has dropped her debut song titled, Uber Driver.

Wendy Shay’s 'Uber Driver' is her first track under the management of RuffTown Records, the same record label which discovered and nurtured Ebony.

Uber Driver, released on June 1, talks about how men love to watch women with big buttocks and how it mostly land them in trouble.

The already hit song, Uber Driver came complete with a video directed by Yaw Skyface and Wendy Shay puts her assets on display in the colourful video.

Wendy's manager, Bullet took to his Facebook account to congratulate the diva for making history with  her first music video.
