Ghanaian actress Andrea Owusu also known as Efia Odo has revealed that she is not ready to die for Ghana that is why she did not partake in the ‘FixTheCountry’ demonstration.

According to Efia, she is a patriotic citizen hence does the needful by speaking on matters that are worrying Ghanaians.

However, she will not go to the extreme to get her voice out there because she cares about her life and that of her family.

Speaking on Hitz FM, Efia mentioned that she received threats through phone calls and social media from people she believes are part of the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Efia Odo is currently promoting a reality show 'GH Queens' produced by Bezzy Darko which is soon to be aired on African magic.

In 2021, #FixTheCountry campaigners hit the streets of Accra to demand that the government address the many economic and social challenges facing the country.

Ghanaian youth took to social media to demand accountability, good governance, and better living conditions from the government.

The #FixTheCountry advocacy, which began in May 2021, garnered huge support since campaigners, largely the youth, started highlighting some of the inadequate conditions in the country.
