Singer Patience Nyarko has said that she will ‘collapse’ if she does not win any of the  two awards she has been nominated for at this year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which will come off on Saturday, May 7 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Patience Nyarko is competing for the Gospel Song of the Year Award with Supt Kofi Sarpong (‘Hour by Hour’), Kofi Gyan (‘Yoboyo’), Mary Owusu (‘Wo Nkwa Wo Awurade’), Obaapa Christie (‘Hyebre Sesafo’) and Nicholas Omane Acheampong (‘Aporsor’) while she is also in the run for the Gospel Artiste of the Year category with the likes Obaapa Christie, Joe Mettle, Nicholas Omane-Acheampong, Supt Kofi Sarpong and Preacher

But speaking on Accra FM's Entertainment Capital last Saturday, the 'W'afom Kwan' hitmaker stated that she deserved an award because she had worked very hard this year to maintain her good image on the gospel music scene.
