Just a little over a month after the passing of staltwart Highlife musician, Daasebre Gyamenah, award winning music producer, George Forest has died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.Â
According to Reggae musician Obiba Sly Collins, who confirmed the death to Atinka FM's Roman Father Wednesday mid-morning, Forrest was rushed to the hospital early in the morning after a short illness where he died later.
George Forest who owns the Kumasi-based band called Adepa Band has been in the music industry for over 34 years producing music for  Nana Acheampong, Akwesi Ampofo Adjei, Nana Aboagye Da Costa, Obaapa Christy, Gifty Osei, Ohemaa Mercy, Philip Baafi among others.
