21-year-old Leah Brown shrugged off keen challenge to emerge this year’s Charterhouse organised Miss Malaika Ghana 2016 Queen.

The University of Ghana Political Science and French student beat nine other contestants to win the crown at this year’s event staged at the nation’s National Theatre in Accra on Saturday.

A brand-new Renault Captur Hatchback, one year wardrobe supply of clothes, a trip to Dubai and a $10,000 education scholarship from Abbeam Institute are all packages Leah secured with her win.

Amanda Edem Fiawosime from the University of Ghana and Delsey Hamilton Yankah from the Cape Coast University emerged first and second runner ups respectively impressing with their Women Empowerment and Glaucoma speeches.

E.L, MzVee, Joey B and Lil Shaker entertained the congregants while radio personalities Naa Ashorkor and Lexis Bill served as judges.
