Martini Ambassador, Bryan Okwara in Ghana for Nigeria’s Independence Day

Bryan Okwara, fast-rising Nigerian actor and Ambassador for Martini-Nigeria, joined his compatriots and Ghanaians to celebrate the Nigeria’s Independence Day on Saturday at Ghana-Lagos carnival held in Accra.

The highly attended event, saw the Ambassador partner Ghana’s Juliet Ibrahim was also part of efforts by Martini, a leader in alcoholic beverages to expand their market in Africa.

Speaking to the media in Accra, the former Mr. Nigeria, Okwara said the visit to the country provides the opportunity to continue the friendship that existed between the two countries.

He added that, Independence Day calls for a celebration and Martini believes that it is a great avenue to meet Ghanaians, share experiences and exchange culture and celebrate with Ghanaians.

Having worked for Martini for two years, he said, the brand has helped in ensuring that every important events are celebrated.

“The Martini brand is known across the world for its iconic Italian lifestyle and we believe West African consumers identify with that,” he stressed. 

Apart from being a Martini Ambassador, Bryan Okwara is a well-known actor and model who is a former Mr. World runner-up and pageant contestant who was the first to win the title of Mr. Nigeria and reached the semi-finals in the Mister World 2007 competition. 

According to the Area Manager, West Africa, Marcio Ferreira said the brand is known for its support of celebrations of positivity and lifestyle and bringing Okwara to Ghana was an expression of that interest. 

He added that, the brand needed someone that was centered and not bias to represent them at the world stage and Okwara has been the perfect so far as they line up other activities to promote the brand.
