The recent white wedding between the son of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Mavis Hawa Koomson and his fiancee, made headlines partly because of how colourful the ceremony was.
The beautiful nuptial on January 8, 2022, between Kwamena Ato Koomson and Jasmin Akortus was graced by persons of repute like Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira.
The peach-white-themed event took place at the Teshie Methodist Church, Accra and swiftly followed with a grand reception.
The white wedding followed a rich traditional wedding ceremony that took place on New Year’s eve at a private venue in Accra.
