We didn't get enough financial support – Producer Eyoh’s wife reveals

The wife of the late sound engineer Eyoh Soundboy, Aisha Yussif has disclosed that all the attempts that were made to raise the amount of money needed for the surgery of her husband Eyoh Soundboy proved futile.

According to Aisha, several calls on the general public made by her together with the help of renowned bloggers in the country did not help the situation as the producer’s situation kept deteriorating.

Speaking on Hitz FM, Aisha mentioned that they needed GHS 91,807 to undergo a kidney transplant in India.

 “It never happened. We never got the support,” Aisha said.

Aisha also said that she is now a widow and carries the burden of taking care of 3 children aged eight, six, and a year old respectively all by herself.

She went on to say that she believes that with the help of God she will be able to cater for the kids to become responsible adults in the near future.

In July 2021, it was revealed by Eyoh's wife on Hitz FM that Eyoh needed an amount of GHS 91,807 for dialysis a year. The likes of musician D-Black were among a few who made donations to support the late music producer.

The Ghanaian musician and record producer, Eyoh Soundboy, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, under the watch of his wife after battling kidney failure for years.

Eyoh Soundboy was the CEO of Brainworkz TV and a sound engineer based in Ghana, he has been nominated as the producer of the year 2013 to his credit.

He has produced for the likes of Samini, Dr. Slim, Dobble, and many others.
