The Ghana Police Service has undertaken a show of force and route march in the Ayawaso East Constituency ahead of the upcoming by-election on March 3.
The exercise forms part of heightened security measures aimed at ensuring peace, security, law and order before, during, and after the polls.
The operation saw a strong deployment of Police personnel drawn from various units, who marched through principal streets within the constituency.
The exercise was designed to reassure residents, deter potential troublemakers, and demonstrate the readiness of the Service to respond swiftly to any security threat.
They emphasised that the Service remains committed to providing a safe environment for all stakeholders.
