Wife of New Patriotic Party’s presidential nominee, Nana Akufo-Addo, Rebecca is on the campaign trial and at Jasikan in the Buem constituency of the Volta Region, she let it be known that women in the country were enduring tremendous hardships which her husband could mitigate when voted to power after the December 7 polls.
“We want a change in government this year so that Ghana can move forward. We are really suffering in Ghana. Ghana is a rich country but bad leadership has made the country poor. We just need a leader to come and bring prosperity to all Ghanaians and that leader is Nana Akufo-Addo.
“If you vote for Akufo-Addo, I’ll make sure I also play my role as First Lady to bring prosperity and comfort to our women. Let no one deceive you that Nana Akufo-Addo can’t do it,†she thundered.

Mrs Akufo-Addo also reiterated an Akufo-Addo government will pay teacher and nursing trainees allowances without hassle while rolling out the Free SHS programme.
