It appears the centre cannot hold in one of the latest political parties in Ghana, All People's Congress (APC) as a result of an open endorsement of the incumbent President John Mahama by the founder and party flagbearer, Dr. Hassan Ayariga, and openly declared support for the opposition NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo by the some party executives.

According to the founder and flagbearer of the All People's Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga, he has suspended Mr Emmanuel Carl Bartels( vice Chairman) and Mr Razak Kojo Opoku(Gen secretary) for openly endorsing the NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo in the upcoming December 7 polls.

Dr.Hassan Ayariga added that the suspension of the two executives as a result of "indiscipline and gross disrespect to National Executive committee, and the general membership of APC nationwide"

In a statement signed by APC founder read "Dr Hassan Ayariga and the National Executive Committee wish to inform all APC members nationwide and the general public to refrain from dealing with these two suspended individuals with matters concerning the party till further notice,”

In a statement jointly signed by Mr Razak Opoku and Emmanuel Bartels read the "endorsement of Nana Akufo-Addo has become very necessary considering the high level of incompetence, corruption, mismanagement of the economy, high rate of unemployment, killer taxes, collapsing of the private sector businesses, high utility bills, nepotism, tribal politicking etc. under the 8 years’ rule of John Mahama NDC."
The now embattled executive wished Dr. Ayariga well for his personal decision to endorse John Mahama for the Presidency, Hence their indefinite suspension.

In the jointly signed statement, the embattled executives urged all Ghanaian voters to vote out the NDC and reject John Mahama in accordance with Revelation 3:16. "
"Voters should honour Nana Akufo-Addo with their votes in accordance with Deuteronomy 5:16 so that all of us can be guaranteed of financial and economic healing in accordance with Acts 5:16," the statement preached.
