Unconfirmed number of persons have gone missing on the White Volta at Daboya in the Northern Region.
The missing party were said to be crossing the river to Tamale from a National Democratic Congress event and reports suggests a search party sent to seek them returned empty.
Reports say although there are two routes to Tamale, the Daboya entry is the shortest but fraught with danger.
Two years ago an entire party crossing the river equally disappeared without a trace.
