Bankroller of AshantiGold, Dr Kweku Frimpong has confirmed that Asante Kotoko is requesting for the services of his 3-star players.

According to him, his CEO informed him of the Porcupine Warriors interest and he is ready to negotiate with them.

The Miners trio, midfielder James Akaminko and strikers Shafiu Mumuni and Richard Djodi have been on top of their game for their outfit.

Coach C.K Akunnor who worked with the trio during his time in Obuasi has made a request to the management of his outfit to sign them as he intends to sharpen his attack for the Africa campaign.

"My CEO (Fredrick Acheampong) phoned me and confirmed to me of Kotoko's interest but I haven't read the content of the letter'' said Dr Frimpong on Kumasi based Fox FM.

The bankroller, however, said he wouldn't mind doing business with his regional rivals.

"I don't have a problem negotiating with Kotoko, football is business, we operate on a buy and sell basis.

He further added that any negotiation that any negotiation will have to be channeled through a scouting agency they have an agreement with.

"We signed a contract with any agency (541 in Scotland) and they are mandated for the negotiation for selling our players".
