Ghana's senior female national team, the Black Queens held their first training session at the Baba Yara Stadium today August 13, 2018.

The training was presided over by head coach Bashir Hayford and his assistant Mercy Tagoe.

Only 24 out of the 32 players in camp took part in the training. Some of the players weren’t able to train because of knocks and some minor injuries.

The team will today visit the Ashanti regional Minister and Chief executive officer of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly at 10 AM and follow it up by visiting the Owner of Ashanti Gold Dr Kwaku Frimpong.

The Black Queens will be hoping to win the 2018 AWCON which will be hosted by Ghana from November 14 to December 1.
