Footballer Emmanuel Adebayor installed chief in native Togo

Togolese football Icon and former Arsenal and Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor has been installed as a chief in his native country.

The 33-year-old who currently plays for Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir has been honoured in Kpalimé for his humanitarian activities in Southwest Togo.

Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has been on a national tour in Togo where he is offering humanitarian support to the indigenes.

The former Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur attacker has committed himself to support 90 children for a period of one year in Togo.

He is currently Togo's all-time top goalscorer with 31 goals.
