The Ghana Football Association and the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) have agreed on the venue for the international friendly match between the national teams of Ghana and Mexico.

The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 14 2023.

In an official statement released by the Ghana Football Association, announced that the Charlotte Bank of America Stadium will host the clash between the two nations.

Mexico will use the game to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the quarterfinal matches of the CONCACAF, slated for November 2023.

The Mexican team, reigning champions of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, aims to maintain their winning momentum.

However, the game against Mexico forms a crucial part of the Black Stars' preparations for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which is set to be hosted by Ivory Coast in 2024.
