Coach of the national female U-20 team, the Black Princesses, Mas’ Ud Dramani is optimistic that the team will qualify to the next stage of the competition despite recording just a point in two games.

Speaking after their 2-2 game against France on Thursday, he said, the team can be able to beat group favourites USA and qualify to the quarter finals of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup currently ongoing at Papau New Guinea.

“We will beat USA on Monday and qualify to the next stage of the competition as we are not ready to exit at an early stage,” he stated.

He added that, the team is working hard to improve upon their concentration to be able to get the three points against USA.

The Princesses gave away a 2-1 lead and conceded a 94th minute goal to share the spoils with France after losing in the same manner in their first game against New Zealand.

Ghana are currently at the bottom of the group table with a point with both the USA and France with two points each while New Zealand lead with four points.
