All is set for Ghana’s Richard Oblitey Commey to take on American Robert Easter Jnr, on September 9 in Pennsylvania, USA for the IBF lightweight title.

Commey comes into the fight with 24 wins, 22 of which were knock-outs without defeat while Easter has 17 wins, 14 of which were knock-outs with no defeat underlying the lethal abilities of the two boxers.

Easter is noted for his body shots and straight quick jabs but Commey has been taught to move his head swiftly and not try to trade punches to contain the American.

Commey it’s reported has been told by boxing legend, Azumah Nelson: “If you have to beat this guy then take your judge into the ring and go for the kill as soon as you can.”

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was also on hand to motivate him for the bout.

Commey who is trained by Carl Lokko is expected by many Ghanaians to emerge victor in the World Title Fight.
