Ghana and Columbus Crew defender, Harrison Afful has shared an emotional tribute to late coach Sam Arday on social media platform, Instagram.
He shared an old picture with the late coach and other teammates and wrote “''You discovered all of us since childhood and gave us Life, you will forever be remembered, till we meet again ? R.I.P BigSam ?.''
The late Arday was very pivotal in the career of Afful as he played for Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy, now WAFA which was managed by the late coach and expatriate Karel Brokken.
The academy was set up in 1999 to groom talented young players as well as provide them with education.
Afful benefitted from the academy as he was sent to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after graduation where his career took shape and never looked back.
