The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced a closure of the Accra Sports Stadium in December for Christmas activities.
In a statement signed by its Director-General Professor Peter Twumasi, the NSA has directed three Ghana Premier League clubs to resort to alternative venue to enable the authority to rent out the stadium for Christmas activities.
The three Ghana Premier League clubs to be affected with the closure of the stadium are Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Accra Lions.
The NSA has notified the Youth and Sports Ministry, the Ghana Football Association and the leadership of the aforementioned clubs about the imminent closure of the stadium.
