Aleksandar Mitrovic rose highest to head the ball in to make it 1-0 to Serbia in the 5th minute of the game.
They held on the slim lead till half time.

Switzerland came out more purposeful in the second half, in the 52nd minute, a rebound fell kindly to Granit Xhaka, the Arsenal man fired it in to make it 1-1.

Just when the game looked to be heading for a draw, Shaqiri received a killer pass in the 90th minute, he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and coolly slotted home to give the Swiss a much-needed victory.
