The Commonwealth Games Association of Ghana (CGA) has unveiled Team Ghana’s High Performance Squad for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games as preparations enter the final phase.

In a statement issued on Monday, July 13, the Association said the athletes earned selection through outstanding performances, commitment and a rigorous selection process across multiple sporting disciplines.

The squad will now begin its final phase of preparation, which includes intensified training, sports science support and high performance programmes ahead of the Games in Scotland.

The Commonwealth Games Association of Ghana described the squad as some of Ghana’s finest sporting talent and said it was confident the support being provided would help the athletes compete at the highest level.

The association also reaffirmed its commitment, alongside its stakeholders, to providing the resources needed for the team to perform well and represent Ghana with distinction.

It urged Ghanaians at home and abroad to support Team Ghana as it aims to win medals in Glasgow.

The statement said the full list of athletes selected to represent Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games accompanied the announcement.
