Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah says his outfit is both mentally and physically prepared as they will be locking horns with hosts Egypt in matchday 2 of the U-23 AFCON.

Ghana takes on Egypt tonight at 6:00 pm at the Cairo International stadium as they battle for the 3 points to aid them to secure early qualification to the semifinals of the competition.

According to the Celta Vigo star, his outfit is fired up for the clash despite Friday's setback and hosts Egypt know that they have a lot of quality to hurt them.

"Everthing is so good at the moment, we've been ready since we were pooled against Egypt. We are aware they will come with their strength and have the fans backing."

"We are ready because we know what we can do and they also have a lot of fear in us, they know we have a lot of quality and they will be playing a powerhouse in Africa football like Ghana."

"It is going to be a tough game but we are prepared mentally and physically for the task.

"I am happy I am fit for the game. I left the last game with injury and thanks to the physio I have recuperated."

Yaw Yeboah further called on Ghanaians to rally behind the team as they bid to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
