Fast rising actress, Ahuofe Patri, has expressed sadness over her strained relationship with her father.

In an interview with Radio G.I.J, the actress born Priscilla Opoku Agyeman disclosed that she was raised by her mother all her life and was abandoned by her father.

The actress added that it is too late to build a strong relationship with her father due to her age.

“I am turning 25 in two weeks, I can’t build a relationship with him now, what is he going to teach me at my age, he does not even call me,” she said.

She added: “Impregnating a woman does not make you a father, there are people who don’t know their parents, there are people who adopt children, the fact that I don’t have a good relationship with my biological father does not mean there was not a male character in my life.”

The young actress, who has had what many would call a successful acting career so far has taken the plunge into full time acting and would be celebrating her 25th birthday on the premiere of her second movie as a lead actress “Amakye and Dede” on March 26, 2016.
