The family of the late dancehall diva, Ebony, have unveiled three different cloths ahead of the burial service slated to take place on March 24, 2018.

In a short presser to unveil the cloth, Nana Opoku Kwarteng father of the late Dancehall Diva Ebony called on all and sundry to purchase the cloth, and use it on any occasion for the memory of his daughter to live on.

“It’s unfortunate we are here today not for anything, to launch funeral clothes of my daughter, the queen, Ebony. How sad it is” the father said

“It’s very unfortunate if you ask me but I guess we have no option. We are here to launch the cloths, they are beautiful to see. You’ll admire them for sure. It is in to stay, so to speak. And we recommend that for every occasion, patronize so that Ebony will forever reign. It is your support that will make this come through”

According to Ebony’s father, the cloth will not only be the official garment for the final funeral rites but also be a part of her legacy.

The cloths have been named after Ebony’s hit songs Maame Hw3 and her maiden gospel song Aseda.

The Maame Hw3 cloth manufactured by Ghana Textile Printing Limited, GTP is designed in two forms black and red, and blue with eye symbol on it. Whiles the Aseda cloth, which will be the official Thanksgiving service cloth after Ebony’s burial is designed in white with broom outlined on the cloth, which signifies unity.

The final funeral rite for the late Dancehall Diva, Ebony is expected to take place on March 24, 2018, at the Statehouse in Accra.
