Music producer George Forest goes home in a 'piano'

The mortal remains of popular Kumasi-based music producer, George Forest has been laid to rest.

At a ceremony, held at the Tafo Ahenbronum Community Centre in Kumasi on Thursday November 3, the multiple award-winning producer was buried in piano-like coffin.

Forest who owned the Kumasi-based band called Adepa Band and was in the music industry for over 34 years producing music for  Nana Acheampong, Akwesi Ampofo Adjei, Nana Aboagye Da Costa, Obaapa Christy, Gifty Osei, Ohemaa Mercy, Philip Baafi among others died on August 31, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) after a short illness.

The burial ceremony attended was attended by showbiz industry persons, family and friends including Founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa-Yiadom.
