The 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) came off on Saturday at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) but not without some embarrassment.
An unexpected power cut at the venue delayed the event for over two hours leaving patrons frustrated.
The show which was scheduled to start not later than 8pm after the red carpet event which ended around 7pm rather started after 10pm due to the power problems.
Although there is back up generator at the venue, information primenewsghana gathered indicates that there was a technical hitch with the generator and engineers had to do everything within their power to get it working.
