A three-hour downpour in Accra on Friday, September 22, 2023 left parts of Ghana's capital flooded.
The rains which started around 3:00 pm was preceded by lightning and thunder ravaging through the air.
The heavy rainfall submerged parts of Accra and disrupted vital transportation routes, including the Accra-Tema Motorway and the Shiashie to Madina corridor.
Videos circulating across various social media platforms shed light on the extensive damage inflicted by the torrential rains.
Places that got flooded include, Spintex, Airport, Achimota New-Station, Kaneshie, Dome among others.
