Ninety-four (94) MPs out of 106 NDC Members of Parliament in July encouraged John Mahama to lead the NDC party in the 2020 elections.
The list was released today after John Mahama presented his letter of intent to contest the party’s presidential primaries.
Daniel Ohene Agyekum, Former Ambassador to the United States, presented the letter of intent at the Party's headquarters in Accra.
In his declaration video, he noted he owes a duty to the development of Ghana, and to end the 'cries' of the people. He added The 2020 election presents the NDC with a great opportunity to offer another visionary leadership driven by a commitment to creating opportunities for the Ghanaian People.
The 94 MPs have thus welcomed the decision and promised to support Mahama’s campaign with their expertise, knowledge and personal resources.
