How great would it be to lose weight while you’re asleep? Impossible? Well, some of the bedtime drinks could be your great helpers in an uneasy process of fat burning.

Regular consumption of certain drinks can help you become slimmer by building muscles and stabilizing your blood sugar level.

Below we collected some basic homemade recipes of such drinks, which may assist you in getting a healthier and slimmer body even when you sleep.

  1. Kefir

Kefir is listed among one of the most powerful probiotics for weight loss.

Kefir has a positive influence on the intestinal microbiome, increasing its population of healthy bacteria. As a result of the activity of these microorganisms, digestion is improved, and vitamins and minerals are also more effectively absorbed. Kefir also improves sleep and increases the effectiveness of training.

If you are on a diet, you can from time to time skip your evening meal and substitute it with a glass of kefir and a tablespoon of honey.

  1. Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea is a great natural remedy for stress and anxiety. And, if you didn´t know it yet, having enough healthy sleep without heavy thoughts has a huge impact on your weight. The thing is that poor sleep is one of the main risk factors for weight gain and obesity. If you don’t get enough sleep, your cortisol levels rise. This is the stress hormone that is frequently associated with fat gain.

Chamomile tea increases the level of glycine neurotransmitters in the body, due to which falling asleep happens faster. In addition, the drink has the ability to stabilize sugar, which helps in weight loss. Experts advise drinking chamomile tea pleasantly hot.

  1. Turmeric tea or Golden Milk

Turmeric is often used as an ingredient of weight-loss drinks because it is a great natural metabolism booster. And Golden Milk is one of the most consumed bedtime drinks for weight loss!

It also turned out that this spice contains a special element – curcumin polyphenol. One of the most attractive properties of curcumin polyphenol is inhibiting adipose tissue growth. This is what determines the benefits of turmeric for weight loss.

Strictly speaking, curcumin does not directly affect the body fat itself, but it has an influence on the smallest blood vessels that must develop in the lipid tissue to ensure its growth. Curcumin actively inhibits the growth of the microvascular system in adipose tissues, which inhibits their physical growth.

You can either prepare yourself a fat-blocking tea or a cup of famous Golden Milk drink:

You will need 1.5 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1.5 cups almond milk, a pinch of ground black pepper Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over the stove. Let it simmer but don´t let it boil. Add maple syrup or honey if you prefer it sweet.

Cucumber water cleanses the body from toxins. It contains silicon, which makes cucumber water a real detox miracle.

Cucumber water contains vitamin E with its antioxidant properties, vitamins A and B, vitamin C, which restores the skin and lots of other healthy microelements.

  1. Grape juice

Drink a small glass of unsweetened grape juice before going to bed. This will help to get rid of stubborn belly fat.

Grapes containing resveratrol convert the calorie content of white fat into the calorie content of brown fat, which is more actively spent by the body for energy production.

Grape juice can also lower the risk of developing blood clots that lead to heart attacks.
