The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has dismissed speculation that the party is planning to reshuffle its parliamentary leadership.

Speaking on the matter, Justin Kodua said there have been no discussions within the party about making changes to its leadership structure in Parliament.

He was responding to suggestions that the NPP could follow the example of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which adjusted its leadership ahead of the last general election.

According to him, the issue has not been tabled for consideration, and there is no basis for any such move at this time.

He questioned the rationale behind calls for a reshuffle, stressing that there is no clear justification for altering the current leadership arrangement.

Mr Kodua expressed strong satisfaction with the performance of the Minority Caucus, commending its work under the leadership of Alexander Afenyo-Markin.

He described the caucus as effective in its opposition role and pledged continued backing for its activities.

He added that the NPP headquarters is confident in the direction and performance of its parliamentary team, emphasizing that the party is pleased with the level of opposition provided so far.
