President John Mahama has assured Ghanaians that he and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will accept the outcome of the 2016 elections whether its negative or positive.
"I want to assure the nation that we will accept the outcome of the election, positive or negative", he said while addressing supporters who thronged his residence in Accra on Friday morning to solidarize with him.
According to him, they had received some figures which they were comparing to their own figures but supporters must remain calm as the EC does its work.Â
He further urged his supporters to be law abiding saying "we are the party in government and we would have more to lose if anything bad happens".Â
