Brighton keeping tabs on Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena

English Premier League side Brighton have rekindled their interest in Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena according to reports.

Raphael Dwamena,22, was set to join the English Premier League side, Brighton last year but the deal failed to materialize following the failure of medicals by the FC Zurich forward.

FC Zurich confirmed it was a medical failure which failed the 10m pounds transfer of Raphael Dwamena to Brighton.

“The transfer from Raphael Dwamena to Brighton & Hove Albion has not been completed. Due to the medical check, the English club has withdrawn its offer,” The Swiss side said in a statement.

However, they have revived their interest in the young Ghanaian forward. Brighton will face competition from Lokomotiv Moscow and Espanyol.

Raphael Dwamena has bagged 21 goals in 50 appearances for his side.
