Ghana international and Levante UD striker, Emmanuel Boateng has bid his teammates farewell ahead of his switch to Dalian Yifang.

The 22-year-old went through a successful medical test ahead of his switch to the Chinese Super League club on Monday in Madrid.

Boateng got into the limelight after his first career hat-trick helped Levante defeat Barcelona 5-4 which ended Barca's dream of going the whole 2017/2018 La Liga season unbeaten.

It is understood that Boateng has bid his Levante UD teammates farewell already following a visit to the Bunol training ground.

"I will miss everyone at Levante. Thanks to the fans, coaches and my teammates for their unflinching support during my stay" Boateng told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.

"Levante is like a family and I am still a supporter of the club despite leaving to join a new club"

Boateng moved from Portuguese club Moreirense in 2017 to join Levante UD on a transfer fee around 2.9 million euros.

Boateng notched eight goals and registered two assists in his 48 appearances for Levante UD during his stay.
