Ghana have dropped to 45th according to the latest FIFA ranking, two places below last month’s ranking which saw Ghana placed 43rd in the world.

The Blacks Stars are now fifth on the continent behind Ivory Coast, Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia.

The decline could be traced to the poor results recorded in the month by the Black Stars, including a 0-0 draw with Uganda and a 1-1 draw with South Africa.

However, Ghana’s group opponents at the AFCON, Egypt have been ranked 46th in the world, just behind Ghana while Mali is placed 58th.

Argentina still maintained their spot on top while Germany and Brazil have moved to the second and third positions respectively.

The top ten teams are:

1.Argentina

  1. Germany
  2. Brazil
  3. Belgium
  4. Columbia
  5. Chile
  6. France
  7. Portugal
  8. Uruguay
  9. Spain
